IN-EDIT Festival NL is the Netherlands’ edition of IN-EDIT, the biggest international music documentary film festival in the world. Aside from a selection of excellent music documentaries being screened, IN-EDIT NL also holds live performances, Q&A’s with artists and directors, and industry meetings arranged for and by professionals. Our fourth edition will take place in cinemas of Amsterdam from the 1 – 10 of April 2022 and throughout the Netherlands during April and May 2022, and we are now looking for your projects!
This entry by IN-EDIT Festival NL is a call for only films made totally or partly by Dutch parties. Films made with non-Dutch parties can submit via our Barcelona-based headquarters’ website: www.in-edit.org. This entry is a call for only documentary films. The selected films will enter the competition for: Audience Award for National Feature Film & Audience Award for National Short Film. Please see below the full crieria and requirements for entry.
Feature films:
- Production years 2021 or 2022
- Minimum length 50 min
- Deadline for submission: 15 February 2022
- Completed productions only
Short films:
- Production years 2021 or 2022
- Maximum length 30 minutes
- Deadline for submission: 1 February 2022
- Completed productions only
All films:
- Music documentaries only. The film must be about musicians, bands, music scene, music industry scene, music venue, etc., all themes related to music using the documentary filmmaking techniques.
- We only select productions made totally or partly by Dutch parties.
- Final film must have English subtitles.
- Not eligible are films that have been broadcasted or will be broadcasted before the end of the next festival (April and May 2022), and films that are publicly available online.
- We do not pay a screening fee for selected films, but selected films will automatically compete for the Audience Award for National Feature and Short Film.
