IN-EDIT is on the look out for a…



Every year, we show a selection of new international and Dutch music documentaries, combining them in a programme with live performances by matching musicians, Q&As with artists and directors, and Industry Meetings arranged for and by professionals. For this next edition, we will be integrating some online elements in order to engage with our remote audience: webinars, online performances, and online Q&As. IN-EDIT will be taking place on 21-25 April 2021 in Amsterdam, for the third time.

The volunteers of IN-EDIT are the very soul of our festival and we hold them in high regard. And as we all know, behind every successful team, there’s an inspiring captain. That’s why we’re looking for a motivated volunteer coordinator to join our team!

As the IN-EDIT volunteer coordinator you will:

-Be responsible for receiving the volunteer applications and seeing through the selection process (interviews etc.)
-Co-organise the volunteer meeting leading up to the festival
-Manage the volunteers team and make sure that volunteers are well informed and ready for the days of the festival.
-Schedule the volunteers’ shifts
-Be the go-to person during the festival days

We believe that a people person with good organisational and problem-solving skills is the ideal candidate for this position.

We expect from the volunteer coordinator to start working from the middle of March for +/- 7 hours a week (spread-out) and all days of the festival.



IN-EDIT is looking for a natural born organiser to support its production team in delivering the 2021 edition our audiences deserve! In this dynamic and active role you will be working closely with the production coordinators, making sure that everything is running smoothly at all times and providing the necessary logistical and administrative support for all aspects of the event’s delivery.

As the IN-EDIT production assistant you will:

-Be supporting film traffic, making sure the films are properly delivered on time, in the right format and without any complications.
-Help preparing call sheets and similar administrative files.
-Assisting with industry communication: making sure that the guests, moderators and industry participants have all the correct and necessary info for their events.
-Supporting with the industry meetings and checking they are held smoothly both in real life and online.
-Making sure that locations are equipped with the right festival materials and signs (banners, flyers, festival programs).
-Assisting in venue communication: making sure all the right info about the screenings and the films has reached the festival locations and is showing properly (including online information on ticket sales and films).

The IN-EDIT production assistant will be the key person that ensures communication between the production team and the festival locations is always smooth.

We expect from the production assistant to start working in the beginning of March for +/- 8 hours per week, with hours increasing leading up to and during the festival.
