IN-EDIT WANTS YOU!
Volunteers are invaluable for IN-EDIT. Without them, the festival won’t be able to take place.
Do you want to share your experience, knowledge, but most of all your enthusiasm for film and music? Become a part of the only international music documentary festival in the Netherlands by filling out this form!
During IN-EDIT we will be needing volunteers for a lot of different tasks. We are not only trying to bring you a great event, but also grow a family full of passionate people who want to make IN-EDIT a success! This means we will need volunteers before and during the festival, depending on your function.
What’s in it for you?
As an IN-EDIT volunteer you’ll find yourself in the right place to expand your network in the film, music and festival industry and to add extra work experience to your résumé. But most importantly: as a volunteer you will have a great time! Also, you will benefit from the following extra’s:
• Free entrance to the film screenings + concerts (when they’re not fully booked + everyone gets two coupons to go to a screening that is fully booked)
• Free entrance to the festival preview on the 9th of April
• An IN-EDIT festival T-shirt
• Lunch or dinner when you are working a shift of 8 hours
• Volunteer afterparty
What do we want from you?
We need our volunteers to be available three days during 13-17 May 2020. A shift will last around 8 hours, depending on the location you are working at and the function you are working in. After applying we’ll call you to discuss what you can do for the festival.
There are some requirements for becoming a volunteer at IN-EDIT. They are described in our Volunteer Policy.
You can apply as a volunteer by filling in this form. You can find detailed job descriptions below.
Please note: if you are from outside the EU, you will need a work permit for the Netherlands. Unfortunately, it’s not allowed to do volunteer work on a Student Visa.
If you have any questions, please send an email to email@example.com.
Functions before the festival:
Are you a master in organisation and do you like managing different situations? Can you make sure everything is running smoothly and tackle little bumps along the way? Come help out our production team and assist in small production tasks leading up to the festival.
This function can start immediately until the end of the festival. We expect it to take up to 4 hours a week now, 4 hours per day starting from two weeks before festival and full time during festival itself.
Do you know your way around town? Up to date where the cool kids hang? And especially the music and film lovers? Come join our team and spread out our amazing flyers, posters and stickers before the festival takes place.
Functions during the festival:
Check tickets at screening rooms and look after the auditorium before, during and after a film screening. Make sure the visitors feel welcome and answer any questions they might have. As a screening attendant you might get asked to assist with Q&A’s or the practicalities of a film concert after the screening.
Info & merch desk:
At the merch desk you will sell IN-EDIT goodies. Also, you will swap with the people at the information desk, so you can expect guests to ask questions about the festival.
Decoration and (de)construction
We are always looking for (strong) men and women to help us build up the festival and to break it down again. Think of small stages, but also helping with the decoration of the festival locations.
As somebody who can ‘do it all’, you will fill in the gaps in the schedule or run errands. This is probably the most surprising function, as you will never know what to expect.
Social media reporter
During the festival we want to stay as up to date as possible! That’s why we need some online savvy minded people supporting our online team. Are you good with writing copy? and do you know how Instagram and Twitter works? Get social for us!
