Opening and Closing films announced!

TICKET SALES START 10th OF APRIL

The wait is over. We’re announcing the two films that we’ve picked as our opening and closing screenings for this May!

First, to set the tone of the festival an intimate portrait of the sensitive Rolling Stone, Ronnie Wood in “Ronnie Wood: Somebody Up There Likes Me”. Directed by the ever inventive Mike Figgis, paints a completely different picture of the legendary rocker, that of an artist, a musician and above all a survivor. We couldn’t be prouder to bring you the Dutch premiere of this documentary about such an interesting and complex personality.

When you start like that, the only way to finish is with an explosion! Rubika Shah‘s award winning “White Riot” explores the history of Rock Against Racism, the movement that put anti-racist politics in the heart of punk rock 70’s Britain. With bands like The Clash, Joy Division and The Specials, this documentary is an energy bomb! Another Dutch premiere that we’re ecstatic to be able to bring to you!
